Anna Williams Sjörs

Anna Williams Sjörs is the Senior Content Writer at the Center on the Developing Child. Anna creates content to increase understanding about early childhood development and help strategic messages reach the Center’s diverse audiences. She is passionate about making science accessible and actionable to help improve the lives of young children and their caregivers.

Before joining the Center in November 2024, Anna was a communications lead at a policy agency focused on equitable economic development and community planning. She also was a science writer at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and held editing positions at various mission-driven organizations. She earned her BA in journalism from New York University.
