Since joining the Center on the Developing Child in 2022, Nirka Rosa has been the Senior Project Manager of Administration and Culture, collaborating with the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) team to cultivate a values-driven, inclusive culture that emphasizes accountability, professional growth, and transparent pathways for all team members. As the Center’s principal liaison with Harvard Graduate School of Education Human Resources, Nirka develops and manages processes that enhance EDIB engagement, support professional development, and foster a positive work environment. Motivated by a passion for organizational growth and team empowerment, she finds purpose in the Center’s mission and commitment to inclusive and equitable workplace practices.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, operations, and project management, Nirka has held roles at Mass General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), contributing to the evolution of the Flexible Workplace Program. As BWH’s DEI Committee Co-Chair and DEI Advocate, she led engagement and belonging initiatives to enhance the employee experience. Nirka also served as Assistant Director for a statewide human services organization, where she collaborated with local, state, and federal departments on service improvement strategies. She holds a BS in human services from Springfield College and is currently pursuing her MS in organizational leadership.
