Ethiopia Kabtimer

Ethiopia Kabtimer serves as Project Coordinator at the Center. She has been with the Center for two years, supporting a variety of activities for the Pediatric Innovation Initiative and National Scientific Council on the Developing Child. Ethiopia is deeply attuned to the intersection of science, communication, community, and impact, and values the Center’s interdisciplinary approach in effecting positive change in the health outcomes of children.

Prior to joining the Center, she worked in research, academic, and clinical contexts across the continental United States and Hawaii, and has a keen understanding of how social determinants of health affect our most vulnerable populations.
