Come learn about three principles from the Center’s science framework that can be leveraged using design thinking. We will draw on human centered design, using methods to help participants generate science-based ideas for innovation in the early childhood landscape. We will define several challenges in early childhood and brainstorm ideas, using these three principles to select actionable and innovative solutions to prototype. No previous design or early childhood experience necessary!
All Harvard students are welcome—undergrad, graduate—from HGSE, to HKS, T.H. Chan, GSAS, HBS, and everywhere else! Sign up to participate as an individual or come ready to form a team. This workshop will be very helpful for students who are interested in or doing a class project around designing a new intervention/policy/program in early childhood, or as preparation to enter one of the many Harvard innovation competitions on campus.
