This article features 2011-12 Richmond Fellow Todd Grindal discussing universal design for learning (UDL), an educational framework aimed at adapting instruction for individual learning differences. Grindal is a research associate for the Center’s meta-analytic database [1] and a fifth year doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
